I'm Terri Donockley, based in North Yorkshire UK. I create both traditional and contemporary handmade ceramics for the home and garden.
My journey into ceramics started by attending an evening class (something I’d been longing to try) and ten minutes into my first lesson I was hooked; decades later I still love working with clay. I then went on to study studio ceramics at Falmouth School of Art, Cornwall.
The hedgerows and surrounding countryside give endless amounts of inspiration, and collecting foliage and seedpods etc on my walks are kept to influence future work. Taking photos to keep a record of nature before it vanishes with the changing seasons is reflected on in the studio, and then kept for reference.
